By their very nature, porcelain tiles very difficult to stain and scratch. That said, it's still important to mop up any spills as soon as possible, before they have the chance to get comfortable!

Most of the time, a mop and fresh water should do the trick. For more stubborn stains, use a specialist tile cleaner with a bit of elbow grease if required. If you don't want to use chemicals in your home, try adding a cup of white vinegar to a bucket of cold water. It's an old wife's tale that works wonders!

A word of advice - it's vital that the tiles are properly cleaned during installation, as dust and dirt can stick to grout and adhesive residue on the tiles.
